1) Als, Northampton, Ma., 8/29/1887. 1p. to "Carey" concerning type written pages that Cable is sending that are additions to a MSS which he calls "Au Large". Carey seems to be a typist, compiler and it may be that Cable is discussing the compilation of "Battles and Leaders of the Civil War" 2) APC to Mr. R.W.Gilder, editor of Century Magazine, Camb., Ma., Jan. 25, 1906. 2 lines noting that he is home and will send photographs. 3) ALS,1p. May 12, 1911, responding to an autograph collector, mounted. 4) Small card, signed, Yours Truly, G. W. Cable. The lot. (Item ID: 3490)
