Steinbeck writes back to a collector looking for a copy of the scarce book "Northing So Monstrous" noting, "I haven't any idea where you can find the book in question. It was a small edition. Sorry to be of so little assistance. Sincerely, John Steinbeck". Included with a carbon of the letter requesting information. Old folds, but in nice clean condition. Item #59769
