The "Ariel" was to travel from New England to the West Indies and return to New York or New London. Ashbel Wrightwas born in Wethersfield, Hartford, Connecticut, USA on 1758. Ashbel married Abigail Deming and had 5 children. He passed away on 1817 in Wethersfield, Hartford, Connecticut, USA. Wright, a sea captain, was later a militiaman in the Revolutionary War at Lexington and Bunker Hill.
