This is the official, in-depth, history that reprints letters, speeches, petitions, and all the rest. This is an extraordinary history that shows the organizers' penchant for detail and recognition that a complete history of the movement was not only desirable but essential. There are numerous internal documents, letters to conventions, speeches and the like that were not reprinted elsewhere.
