Colophon reads: "This account of D. B. Updike and John Bianchi is issued as a Keepsake to mark the Sixtieth Anniversary of the Society of Printers. It was delivered at a meeting of the Society on October 6, 1965. It has been set in Janson type by The Plimpton Press; the text was printed by the Alpine Press and the illustrations by Meriden Gravure Company; the text paper is Mowawk Superfine Text, supplied by Mohawk Paper Mills, Inc., and the French Marble end papers by Andrews-Nelson-Whitehead; the cloth was furnished by Holliston Mills; the binding was done by Robert Burlen & Son. It has been designed by Daniel B. Bianchi.
500 copies have been printed of which 150 are for the members of the Society of Printers and 350 copies are issued as Typophiles Monograph Number 81.
