Neuhaus was chairman of the Western Advisory Committee and member of the San Francisco jury in the Department of fine arts of the Exposition.Edson 1870-1933) was a social worker and involved in a number of reform causes and "constructive philanthropy," public health issues. She was the chair of the Political League which lead to the ballot for women in Southern California.
