Includes commentary on Body and Mind, Of the Rebelliousness of Man, Of the Liberty of Human Actions, Of Belief, etc. St Clair notes: "Thoughts on Man was intended as an update of the influential Enquirer of 1797 and was likely, he claimed, to be his most enduring contribution to the history of progress."
