The story of Mrs. Fraser's sojourn amongst the cannibals along the coast of New South Wales in 1835. Eliza Fraser survived the shipwreck of The Stirling Castle on the Queensland coast. Her husband Captain Fraser was speared to death. Mrs Fraser a genteel lady became slave to an Aboriginal tribe and was eventually rescued by an Irish convict.
