French revolutionary and journalist, Jacques Pierre Brissot Warville (1754-93) was active in the French Revoliton and the abolition movement. He was the editor of the Patriote Francaise which later became an organ of the Girondists. He had much influence in the Legislature on the conduct of foreign affiars. He was executed by the Jacobins.
