Expanding file containing a 4-page typed letter describing a trip to Spain from Florence Hartley (possibly kept as material for a monologue), a few printed monologues, about 10 typed monologues that may be by Beckwith herself, various clippings of poems and other material. Much of this is pasted on cardboard. Yellowed and chipped, but still legible. Item #34413
Beckwith appears to have lived in Manhattan at the time these materials were collected (late 1920s, early 1930s) and she was, perhaps, an amateur who performed in small venues (maybe club meetings, seemingly at least one funeral, etc.).
